Here we come with a very good and important project that is send data to google sheet from mit app inventor. It is very important because google sheet can be used as online database. Google sheet can be used as mysql database with free of cost.

Project Description :

So making a project send data to google sheet from mit app inventor, we need basic concept of android app making. To build our project we use

  • MIT APP INVENTOR
  • Google Sheet
  • App Script

Here we can see when we send data from android app. It will store this data at google sheet automatically.

MIT APP INVENTOR

For that project we build very simple app with two input and one button. First input field use for taking customer name. Second input field use for collecting phone number. And button use for to set condition. In bellow you can see the simple looks of our app.

Send data to google sheet from mit app inventor Now talk about block programming, you can see very simple logic we used. Firstly, when send button press. It set the app script url to it. Secondly, it collect the input data. Finally, add those data and make google sheet url. And send this to google sheet. In bellow you can see the programming blocks of our project send data to google sheet from mit app inventor.

 Google Sheet :

Now we have to make the google sheet. When you make the google sheet, you have to give same heading which you used in app. Also mind the spelling it is case sensitive. So in my project it look like that.

 App Script :

It is the main portion of our project. We have to create send data script. How we create that every thing shown in the video. Please watch that video. I am sure you will able to do it by own.

Please find the app script at bellow.
